Privacy Policy

Hiitify ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Hiitify mobile application (the "App") handles your information.

The short version: Hiitify is a fully local, offline-first app. All data you create stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Location data
• Health or fitness data from HealthKit, Google Fit, or any other health platform
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any information from your camera, microphone, or contacts

There are no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services integrated into the App.

Hiitify stores the following data exclusively on your device using standard local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device:

• Workouts & Exercises — workout plans and exercise lists you create or customise.
• Workout History — dates, durations, completed rounds, and estimated calories for sessions you complete.
• App Settings — preferences such as sound, haptic feedback, weekly training goal, and default rest time.
• Body Weight — an optional value used solely to estimate calories burned during workouts. It is never transmitted externally.
• Onboarding Preferences — fitness level and preferred formats selected during initial setup.

All of this data is stored locally and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the App.

The App estimates calories burned during workouts using your body weight (if provided), workout format, and session duration. This calculation is performed entirely on your device and is an approximation only — it is not sourced from or shared with any health platform.

The App uses audio for workout cues (beeps and sounds during intervals) and may run a background audio service to maintain timer accuracy when the screen is off. This audio activity is handled entirely on your device and is not recorded or transmitted.

After completing workouts, the App may use the platform's native review prompt (Apple App Store or Google Play) to invite you to rate the App. This prompt is provided by Apple and Google respectively — we do not receive any personal data through this mechanism, and displaying the prompt is subject to each platform's own policies.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data is collected by us at all, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete your workout history and settings from within the App at any time, or remove all data by uninstalling the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
